i am an international export coordinator in SSF. I am currently handling all export matters, distribution, and warehouse duties. I am also a female, who operates the forklift. You name it, and i do it. But i was hired for export coordinator ONLY!, and i didn't agree to do anything else, and i am not getting paid extra for it. i asked for a better raise, since i am doing duties that was not on my contract, but my new manager said no. how do i get the pay that i earn? i am at my limit here.

there are only a total of 3 people that work at my office, but the company i work for is located every where. they also relocated our manager to a different state and have someone else from LAX be our manager but he's never here and he doesn't know our customers.

  1. Telling is not selling > nor is simply asking.

If you're going to negotiate for more money, you have to comparison shop out what others doing what you're doing are making.  Then, write up your duties, explain what others are earning doing a similar job, & you want to be compensated fairly.

IF it's still no, start seeking alternative employment.
