Overall, do you approve or disapprove of the 2008 AFL fixture?

I'm not talking for particular teams, but how do you like the 2008 fixture in general??

I think its hard to have a 'general' opinion of the 2008 fixture since you cant help but be biased toward your own team.

For me, overall I think its an ok fixture, though I would have liked to see in Round 1 Collingwood play a Victorian side and Geelong play Port at Skilled Stadium.

im going to answer particular i think the amount of games the pies play in melbourne is rediculous they complain if they have to tarvel 4 times. they have a huge amount of games at the G. all the interstate clubs travel every second week and the pis complain when they have to travel more than 4. thats pathetic they should have to travel to each state at least once a year. how do they not win more often with that kind of schedule

but other than that there is going to be some great games

Didn't Demitriou say that Friday night games were a reward for a successful season the year before? Why is that Essendon who had a c**p year have 5 Friday night games while the Roos who finished 4th only have 2?

I wouldve have wanted sydney to play less sunday games especially at 2pm but what can you do. they hve a good run home. dont really want to play collingwood twice as it has been our bogey team. but a new season is a fresh start hopefully for the swans

It's too hard to judge the whole fixture unless you don't follow a particular club. Lets wait and see what happens teams wise, after all the top 8 last season season was a surprise.

Could turn out to be a good fixture with another race for the final 8.
