  1. Thats a good one. It can and then again sometimes it can't; depending on the type of pill you are on. I used "Yaz" and it worked great! At time on my period I didnt feel a thing at all. Talk with your doctor about which prescription is best suited for you!

  2. In general it does.  For some, maybe not, or not noticeably, but I think for most people it does help, even a little.  My friend has really bad cramps, like she would have to go home and she would cry and lie there all day in pain they were so bad, and she is 19 and not sexually active so the only reason she takes birth control is for her cramps.

    She swears  by it.

  3. Yes it definitely does.......Ive always had horrible cramps and birth control made it much better :) Dont count on it as your only form of birth control if your sexually active though.....i got pregnant while being on it for about 3 years

  4. It makes your period shorter and lighter. So it does help with cramping because it decreases the amount of cramping - but you will still have cramp.

  5. it depends on the person. it doesnt me. but it mite somebody else so watever floats your boat

  6. yes yes yes.

the first one or two packs you may still have some cramping because the medication is not completely activated in your body. But after that you should have none.

I had absolutely horrid cramps that would pull me out of school, work, any and everything until i was put on the pill and I have not had cramps since.

just make sure you tell your doctor before getting the prescription that you have severe cramps just too be positive you get put on one that will eliminate them.

I'm not 100% about all the BC's out there now.

  7. yea it does alot and much lighter periods to maybe 3 days or so

  8. I have been on about 10 different kinds of birth control pills for the purpose of controlling my period (I have polycystic ovarian syndrome).

I found that not a single one of those pills helped me with cramping per se. But they did help control my period. I don't know if this applies to all females but I find that they don't do much for cramping
