Overclocked AMD black screen flickering.?

I just got an AMD black 5000+ and straightaway i put the multiplier up to 15, but now the screen is flickering. It does it more when my pc is under more stress. When i used Prime95 after about 10 minutes of worse and worse flickering, the screen went black completely at 61 C. I dont think it should be quitting out at 60C so it must be something else. I havent done anything to the voltages or FSB, just the multiplier. Anyone know what could be wrong?

  1. Your processor shouldn't be getting to 60C.  I have run a 5200 Windsor up to 3.2 with a good voltage bump and not getting but to 40C tops.  Did you throw Artic Silver 5 on your CPU?  By the way you didn't mention your voltage bump, did you bump the voltage a little?  If you didn't with those temps, I wouldn't do it until you get that Brisbane chip down to its proper idle of 29C.  It shouldn't idle in the 30C range at all...
