Overdose? **URGENT***?

Im 125 pounds and 5 foot 8 inches.

I just took 14 paracetamol. (acetaminophen) Sorry if thats spelt wrong!

Do I need to go to the hospital?

Probably not but I would call to be sure. Generally acetaminophen will just not have any effect after 1000-1200 mg, you will just p**s the rest out since you can't absorb any more.

call your doctors office and you can usually talk to a nurse over the phone and she can direct you better. I would imagine that they would send you to the hospital or at least your urgent care facility.

Go to the ER.  You need a mucomyst treatment to bind up the acetominophen.  You also should get some counseling and understanding for your emotional pain.

The aceominophen can induce a fatal reaction and casue signficant damage to the liver.  A charcoal lavage may also be in order to inactivate the the acetominophen. Get to the ER ASAP    please.

well ive looked up some other answers on this site and it said that about 30 pills would be a lethal dosage and youve taken less than half but you can't be too paranoid about the effects it will have. its a safe bet to go to the doctor.

you took 14 paracetamol tablets and your major concern is its spelling?

OD of paracetamol is when you take >8 tablets in 24 hours.

go to the hospital, get your stomach pumped before your liver shut down. and get a psych consult when you're on the way.

as for the 14, you might feel queezy

and you might smell something really strong like pain thinner and it burns your nose and it feels like there's a weird pain coming from the core of your brain and spreding in circles around the circumfrence of your brain.

30 gave me all of that plus i was extremely nauseous and i my vision was sort of funny, not blurry, just... weird.
