  1. Sounds like you're in a bit of pain to be taking pain killers.

The best thing for your liver is to see a dentist (sorry!).

    Good luck! :-)

  2. For instance, an adult should not take more than eight Tylenol Extra Strength pills, which contains 500 milligrams per tablet, in a 24-hour period (i.e. the maximum daily dose is 4,000 milligrams per day). Exceeding that dosage, could lead to inadvertent liver or kidney damage in some people, Fontana says.

Fontana notes that damage occurs acutely rather than chronically - in other words, it isn't the dosage of the medicine a person takes over several weeks that is the problem, it is the daily dose that may lead to liver toxicity.

so i cant really answer that question with out knowing the daily dose. anyway tylenol is not like nsaids like advil where you get damage from extended use.

  3. If you've taken it for three weeks expect it to not do anything anymore. If you take it too often your body becomes used to it, so it'll stop doing it's job. It'll still do something, but nothing that will help your toothache go away. Go to the dentist and get it checked out, fastest way to get it over with.

  4. Too much acetaminophen increases your risk of actue hepatic toxicity.
