  1. well honestly all banks are defferent however

you can contact your bank for more infromation about this from wot your telling me you should be able to deposit more money in it without any porblems but if you have any doubts just cal you bank and if you don't like your bank you can always change it and close the old account

keep one thing in mind you don't really need the bank the bank needs you thats why you see on tv all banks showing who is better i hope you make the right choice for you money can keep safe and take care  God Bless You:P

  2. some banks like abbey charge £30 for just going over i would go in apoligise say its the first time and as soon as you realised you tried to sort it out

i have got away with it a few times now

    good luck

  3. go and deposit and talk to the bank manager. I have done it....

  4. If you are overdrawn on your acct, no matter how little, they will charge you a standard fee. My bank charges 30 bucks for every one. Sux!

  5. Just about every bank will charge an overdraft fee ranging from $20 - $30.

However, almost all banks have a policy that if you haven't ever overdrafted your account before they will waive the fee for you.  It also depends on the attitude of the person you're talking to.

If you have a personal rep at the bank you could try calling or visiting that person.  OR, if you don't know anyone personally just give the bank a call and explain the situation.

Everyone has been in your situation before and has overdrafted an account so they tend to be forgiving if it isn't a regular occurance.

Considering that Friday is a holiday your situation couldn't have occured at a better time.  Most people are happier around holidays because it means a long weekend and that's good news for you.

Word of advice... when/if you decide to just call... feel the person you're talking to out just a bit.  If they seem in a good mood then ask.  If they don't then I would hang up and try again.

    Good luck!
