Overdue period- neg pregnancy tests ?

the first day of my last period was approx 5th july, as i have pcos (poly cystic ovary syndrome) i didn't take much notice when my period was a bit late. but usually it is never this late i have done some home pregnancy tests and they have all been neg i have went to doc as i was getting headaches, leg swelling tiredness and moody and told him i was overdue and that a preg test i did at home was neg he just ordered some routine bloods to be done to find out why i was tired so much and didn't mention anything about the missed period. have any of you experienced these symptoms

or can any of you tell me what may be the prob as i am fed up going to the doctor

It might be best to wait and see if the blood results come up with anything to account for your symptoms. If they don't and your period has still not started it might be time to have a smear test done in case there are any abnormal cells causing the problem. It is 34 years since what you describe happened to me & it was abnormal cells in the neck of the womb. Best wishes. UK

There is a good chance he had a pregnancy test done with your blood draw. The symptoms you describe could have something to do with a hormone imbalance.
