Overheard parents having s*x? Please help ?

Hi, im 13.

My dad died when I was about 6 or 7 and now i have a step dad.

Yesterday i walked upstairs at night, and I heard screaming and the bed squeaking and stuff and you know the rest.

At first I couldnt figure out what it was, but then BELEIVE ME, I knew.

I started freaking out, and my heart just started beating and for some unexplainable reason, I started to cry.

Do you think that my father has something to do with this ?

Even though he passed a while ago.

um I don't see how your father has something to do with it maybe she was screaming in ecstasy? I'm not sure, all I know is...try not to think about it and sooner or later it wont even be a second thought. It's not really a big deal all parents do it

No I beleive it has something to do with you feeling this way for your dad. I know that it's hard sometimes but it seems as if you are still somewhat greiving for your dad. Did you let your parents know that you heard them. This might be useful to let them know to be more discreet. Sorry you had to go through that. It's hard.

Don't cry it's ok.

Your probably just missing your dad and haven't really got close enough to get to know your step dad.

If they want to have s*x then it is ok unless you have a serious problem with your step dad or you don't like them having s*x.

I would talk to your mum about that ^.

I guess you got a bit of a fright really.

Saaaaad.  Well if your POSITIVE that they were having s*x then you should keep it to yourself. I know this must be sad and your parents should have done it when home alone.  But believe me if you ignore these thoughts, it will all pass by...

I'm your age and I am very sorry to hear about your father.  It's completely natural to think like this. It might have something to do with your father, but it would be freaky to hear your parents have s*x anyway . Best wishes :)

Your father had nothing to do with what was going on in the bedroom. Your Mom and your step dad were just having s*x, it sounds like they got carried away with it. Just tell your Mom that it was a little bit noisy.

You are a part of your father who is no longer with you.  Your father is crying there with you up in heaven.  He wishes that he can be there with you and your mom so bad, but he can't.  And it breaks his heart and yours.  But then again your father might be happy that your mother has found somebody new to live a life with.  But for you it must be very hard, because you miss your father.  I have been there.

of course your dad has nothing to do with this but you may of got upset cos you miss him and want him back. i would freak out if i heard my parents having s*x, believe me, it's horrible cos it's obviously not something you want to know about, never mind hear it for yourself! just try not to think about it sweetie :) time will pass and you'll forget about it (fingers crossed)

Adults have s*x dear, it's quite normal. Your dead father had zero to do with your Mom and step Dad having s*x. You just happened to hear it.

Let your Mom know it was a bit noisy in their room last night, and perhaps they'll take steps to be more quiet when someone else is home. You shouldn't have to listen to their intimacy, even though it's perfectly normal behavior (that they do it). Some things we just don't want to hear or picture in our head...
