Overheating. I have a emachine t3508 desktop pc and after its been turned on for more than an hour

I have a emachine t3508 desktop pc and after its been turned on for more than an hour it shuts down on its own and when turned back on it says that it shutdown due to overheating. What can i do because i can never use it more than an hour.
