  1. Sounds hot indeed.  Make sure that the fans and the heatsink are clear of dust.  A can of canned air is good for that.  Also make sure there is plenty of clearance between the hard surface you are using the laptop on, and the laptop itself.

You can invest in a chill pad if the air channels are clear.

  2. if your laptop gets too hot, it should automatically cool itself down

  3. I think they might be a bit high.

Check to make sure the ventilation fan is clear, and maybe invest $15 and get one of those cooling fan seats for your laptop.

  4. it sounds like not normal. Double check your fan. Service your laptop soon before your processor kill your system

  5. That's perfectly fine, mobile processors are designed to be able to run at 100 °C and the Intel ones have a very effective thermal protection circuit that will slow it down if it overheats.

Besides, the temperature reading might not even be accurate (if it's a motherboard sensor you are getting it from).

Although as the laptop is used it will become full of dust so at some point you'll need to get it cleaned out (that involves taking it apart) but it doesn't seem to be needed now.
