  1. Set up your own sponsership programme, ask family, friends, teachers, relatives to sponser you to go, also you may want to  set yourself tasks and get a wider range of sponsorship by running a certain distance.

In the meantime get yourself an after school job and make up the other amount.

I am pretty sure you could get sponsorship from companies also.

There are lots of options for you good luck with your Quest

  2. Where are you from?  I have worked with exchange programs for teens coming to the USA.  Some are much cheaper than that.  IM or email me for more information.

  3. there are probably less expensive options - check with your school.. also where are you traveling from?

  4. try to get a scholarship.. get good grades, and it might happen for you

  5. Many universities in the United States offer partial and even full scholarships for study there. Yes, this wouldn't be until a few years hence, but, if you hope to receive a scholarship at a top American university - those are the ones that offer the most generous scholarships - study hard and get good grades during the next few years. U.S. universities also tend to look more favorably on candidates who have a strong outside interest, for example, playing a classical instrument (playing it well), rowing crew or some other sport. So, if you have such a non-scholastic interest, keep pursuing it.

    Good luck.

  6. wait till your 18 and get a free ride scholarship

Or if all else fail come on a visit visa and marry an American..

    Good Luck
