  1. no way, Dubai is a rich country, that salary is so cheap, I have a friend their the minimum pay for OFW is $600.  thats a scam. Be careful with your decision, once you work abroad its hard to find and back to teaching when you decide to go back home. The teacher in our place is earning probably triple than that pay. Find another one if you really want to go abroad.

  2. I'm not working in Dubai (although, I have plans of going there), but that figure is not enough at all even if you work in the Philippines.

If you have plans of going to Dubai for work, I suggest you get an offer that'll not only make you survive but also make you save for yourself and for your family.

If you are eager to work abroad, for your convenience you can try this site out. http://www.workabroad.ph/ Browse thru it and if you're luck, you might find a suitable job for you.

I saw this there...this is for Japan, however, compare it with what they are offering you in Dubai, maybe this is something that you could consider.

    Hope this helps.

Additional Info : I would suggest you not to take it. Look for a different agency who could process your application abroad without degrading you. I have no clue what you do in the Philippines, but dont you think 200 USD is your worth? Thats roughly 8k PHP.

And why do I have the feeling that the offer is just a hoax? Try checking at POEA if the agency is a legal one and is of good standing. It seems that the marketing style of the agency is quite enticing. I dont mean to be judgemental...but better be safe than sorry.

This is the site for POEA.

    http://www.poea.gov.ph/cgi-bin/agSearch....

Just type in there the name of the agency and verify if they are legal. Nowadays, illegal recruiters are in the move to make easy money.

Or text POEA and send it to 2765

    Take care and good luck!

  3. 734 Dirhams(AED) wouldn't let you survive unless you are provided with a home... but believe me, my dad and I have been living in dubai and that salary of your is way not enough!!!!

  4. Don't accept that.  When you become stuck there you will have no choice but to be a slave to those people.  It is a sin of the highest order to enslave people like those who are obscenely rich (UAE, Qatar, etc.) and hiring Filipino people to do their dirty work for slave wages. Expect that you will be treated like dogs and maybe raped by those people.  That agency is also guilty by promoting that arrangement and gaining also obscene profits from you in the way of fees.  All Filipino people should wake up to this treacherous scheme and stop supporting it.

  5. I'm sorry but even if food, accommodation and transport is provided, 750AED is a very meager sum. Our trolley boys (the one who pushes and collects the trolley carts) earn a minimum of AED900. You would be lucky to get a 700AED bedspace in Dubai. Ditch the offer. Don't settle for anything less than 350USD (even this is less) with food, accommodation and transport. Dubai is a very expensive city and switching jobs is difficult.
