Overstayed US F1 now applying for UK VAF3?

I overstayed my US F1 Visa for a few years to pay off my school tuition and failed to graduate due to my financial circumstances. So I worked illegally in the US but paid taxes under my social security number. Now I have finally managed to return to my home country where I have found a sponsor to help me pay for my entire education and since I know I cannot return to the US, I am applying to the UK. I have been accepted into a University but am nervous about the upcoming Visa interview - please help me with any foreseen problems. I would really like to rectify my life and will never be able to do so in my country's economic circumstances.

  1. if you have overstayed in the US, the likelihood of you receiving a visa for the UK is none, other countries do look at your records, and hold diplomatic relations with other countries,

therefore your records will follow you,

  2. It's impossible to predict what the UK authorities will do, however, I've got to believe that they will require you to account for your whereabouts and view your illegal activity in the United States in a negative manner.  After all, if you didn't respect the laws in the United States there's nothing to make them think you'll respect the laws of the UK.
