Over the past few years my life has changed greatly. I'm a better person than I was before and its like a light bulb went on overnight about my life.

The thing is though...I made some changes and my outlook on life but there were things under the surface of that. I have so many bad habits, regrets, etc...I know its possible for me to tackle these issues like I have been doing but theres so many issues I want to change or break that I'm overwhelmed by it because I'm realizing all of these things at once...any advice?

  1. Tackle one thing at a time and cut yourself some slack.

  2. Slow down and take it easy.  It's good that you're realizing your flaws, but it takes time to fix things.  You are not going to forget whatever you figured is wrong with you.  Work on just one or two things at a time.  If you need to, write down all the things you want to change and just pick some to really focus on while keeping others in the back of your mind for now.

Don't regret things; there is no point.  What's done is done.  You've learned from your mistakes.  It can be a very good thing if you use what you've learned to teach others.

Are you religious?  I believe that God can help you through your struggles (not always in quite the way you want, but spiritual guidance can be very helpful).  Just a thought.

Good luck...and remember, just relax.  You've already done the hardest thing, which is deciding to make changes.  Now let yourself relax and take life as it comes.

  3. from personnal experience, i know you start tackling 1 thing and the others follow naturally. just go with it, dont ever regret, just LEARN from the mistakes we make x
