Question:

Ovulation, implantation, and menstration cramps...?

OK, my LMP was July 31st. I ovulated on cd16 which was August 15th. I also have 12 luteal phases. I get ovulation pains every month along with EWCM and to me they feel like sharp pains in one side. Today I am feeling like I have a side ache? Could this be how implantation feels? If not should it feel similar to ovulation pains?

here is my chart, I know it's too early to test since I am only 5 dpo.

  1. Implantation happens when the fertilized egg (blastocyst) attaches to the uterine wall and starts producing the pregnancy hormone hCG.

Based on a study published in 1999 implantation happens on average 9.1 days after ovulation with a range of 6-12 days.

It seems you are now 5 days after ovulation so the timing of this is unlikely implantation.

  2. don't think this will help u...but i just had to share...my last period was on the 31st as well..but...bad thing is..i don't know how long i go between periods...and i don't know my luteal phase..but i had s*x on the 13th a day b4 my supposedly ovulation date...on the 14th whichhhh that day i had some clear stretchy discharge which i read is a sign of your highest fertility date..anyway...since all this has happen i been having some stomach cramps as well and i haven't ask anything about it bc i thought it was just me..nice to know it isn't..weird..almost as if menstrual cramps in a way...well GOODLUCK!!!!

  3. I'm not really sure. I think you timed your BD right to look promising for BFP this month. Looking at your last month's chart, I would've thought that was the month since you had a nice looking implantation dip below the coverline on 6dpo last cycle. :(

For this cycle, I'd say to just keep an eye out. I had some extreme cramping on 5-6 dpo this time, like it woke me up out of sleep cramping! Still no AF, but BFN this morning (only 9dpo)...

    Hang in there....
