What is the smallest and largest known mature follicles?

Do preseed really help or hinder conception?

How bad is it to only have two mature follicles?

when I have done my fertility treatments with clomid my Ob has only ever given me the trigger injection if I had a follicle bigger than 18mm. My best one was 23mm and with the trigger injection I ovulated within 24 hours. Depending on what drugs you have taken to get the follicles I don't think that 2 mature ones is a bad result......you could still get two babies out of just the two follicles. I can't give any information about preseed, I have never used it.

I took clomid my biggest egg was 18 mm and I was told that was good I had 8 eggs all between 12-18 mm. Having 2 good eggs is just as good as 8 I only got one baby in the end. SO you only need one 2 is a plus try to look at it like that. But it is the quality not how many you have that is important here. Pre-seed helped me if you take clomid it can dry up your cervical mucus so pre-seed is good. Like I said it worked for me nothing replaces the woman's cervical mucus that's the best thing so if you don't need it using it won't matter or better your chances but if you should happen to need it it's wonderful.  I took clomid cycle day 5-9 ovulated on cycle day 19 ( i did not want to fprce ovulation because you have a chance of forcing immature eggs out too and then if fertilized you could miscarry) after I ovulated I got preg. had a healthy pregnancy and had a healthy baby boy he's 10 months old now. I'm currently preg. 18 weeks w/ #2  another boy no durgs!!!! YAY!

Follicles size ranges but obviously the ideal size for ovulation induction is 18mm-20mm. Generally, over 25mm is not good as these become cystic and not release an egg (induction is done around 18mm ideally).

Pre-seed doesn't help or hurt conception.  It is sperm-friendly lubricant.  It just helps if you need some extra help during TTC.  It was great for us since we were humping like rabbits for months.

Two mature follicles are great. Normally, there is just one mature follicles each cycle assuming no fertility meds used.  With clomid, you can sometime get 2-4 good sized follicles.  With injectables, you might get 6-8 mature follicles.
