Ovulation and stretchy mucus?

i know i must ovulate because i have my period every 28 days and its always regular but for ages i cant remember getting that clear stretchy mucus. does this mean im just not ovulating. i get everything else like the creamy discharge and feeling wet

First you need to know if you're ovulating. Periods don't tell you this info. You could be as regular as clockwork but not ovulating. First, give it a cycle with daily CM checking. I never thought I got any but as soon as you start being more aware of it ... BAM ... cervical mucus out of nowhere :)  So that's a god place to start. As you're regular, you could also do a single OPK to set your mind at rest. Normally you would start daily testing on CD10 until you get a positive followed by a negative (probably somewhere around CD14). If this is inconclusive, try charting morning temperatures (BBTs) which are the ONLY way to know for sure if you're ovulating.
