Ovulation during Period??

This is my second month using the clear blue fertility monitor. I am on day 19 of this cycle and I still have not gotten a peak reading (only High since day 10). On day 12-16 I had some pink EWCM - I thought that was ovulation bleeding but then yesterday (day 18) I started having Red/brown blood...almost like a period. But because it is so early for my period to come I still tested with the monitor this morning, my levels were still High. Could I ovulate during bleeding? Has anyone had this happen before?

This could be ovulation bleeding, but it could also be premenstrual spotting which is common. It depends when your period is due. If you got 'high' readings on CD19 then your period probably isn't due for another 2 weeks or so and then the bleeding is definitely from ovulation. But it's very hard to say on the first few months of the CBEFM because the machine is still learning your pattern.
