Ovulation help please

Question

ok how long does the ovulation phase last during ur ovulation day, like does it last all day and night? and my other quesiton, when is the best time to have s*x on ur ovulaiton day or does it not matter?

i don't believe the first part of your question can be answered specifically,and in the end you may not need that kind of detail basically your egg has about a 12 to 24 hour time frame to be fertilized male producing sperm swim fast but do not live as long as female producing sperm. so if you had s*x 2 days before you ovulate most likley only the"female" sperm would still be alive when you ovulated. if you had s*x exactly on the day of ovulation chances are a "boy" sperm would get there first.alll in all s*x two to three days at most before you ovulate and no more than 2 days after should fertilize the egg

Ovulation last just for a few hours. As soon as you see that you're in ovulation you can start having s*x. The fertility window is not very big that's why you have to use OPK or BBT all the time.

On your second question the best time to have s*x is as soon as you see that  you're in ovulation a the next day. If you want a girl BD a day before your O, if you want a boy BD on the same day. Good luck and baby dust to you!!!!!

I believe it lasts 24 hours, but can last as little as 12 and as much as 48.  Ovualtion day is a good day, but remember sperm can live 3-5 days, sometimes as much as 7 and an egg can also be fertilized up to 2 days after ovulation.  So those are the best times.
