Ovulation: is cm a definate sign of it?

I'm a little worried i'm not ovulating but before i splash out on opks, does anyone know if you still get cervical mucus when you're not ovulating?

Most women have cervical mucus a lot of the time, and some women have EWCM (the good stuff) at times when they're not ovulating, because EWCM is produced by high estrogen levels which, while they normally peak before ovulation, can come at any time. Charting your CM is a good first step, but I would suggest that you chart BBTs and also try a month of OPKs. OPKs do not prove ovulation, but in combination with EWCM they are a good indicator that things are working fine. The ONLY way to know for sure is to chart your morning temperatures (BBTs)
