Do you ovulate 2 weeks after the first day you started bleeding, or 2 weeks from the last day you bled? I am triying to figure this out so I can see when I ovulate again. My m/c started on July 23rd, and ended on the 30th. My lmp was June 9th before that and I think I usually have a 28 day cycle. Please help!

  1. I'm so sorry about your loss.

After a miscarriage it can take a cycle or two for things to straighten back out. And ovulation happens somewhere between 10-16 days before your next period starts, on average about 14 days. So you count the first day of bleeding as cycle day 1, and if your previous few cycles were 28 days then  count forward 28 days--and your next period would be due Aug. 19th, then count back 14 days from that--Aug 5th. So your fertile period is from about Aug 1-Aug 6th with the 5th being the most likely date for ovulation.
