  1. yes. if your cycle is still irregular, you can definitely ovualte on different days. my doctor told me to count 11 days after the first day of my period. Ovulation usually occurs 11-14 days after your period. it is during this week that you can use the ovulation (LH surge) tests to pinpoint ovulation. You want to have s*x within 24-36 hours of ovulation to concieve. good luck!!!

  2. The day of ovulation differs from woman to woman and can even be different from month to month. The “14th day” thinking appears to come from either taking the average of when all women ovulate or from someone just dividing the 28 day cycle in half. However this myth got started, it is not an accurate way to calculate ovulation, because many women do NOT ovulate on the 14th day of their cycle.

The American Pregnancy Association encourages women to learn about the fertility awareness method of tracking cycles and then combine that with ovulation predictor kits to best understand when you are ovulating. The Association estimates that this is anywhere between 11-21 days since the last menstrual period (LMP), or 12-16 days from when you expect the next menstrual period to start.

  3. I think it depends on if your periods come regular.  If you have your period the same time for the same length of time each month you should ovulate on the same day.  You start counting from the first day of your priod.  Women usually ovulate from day 9 to day 13 but it is different for each person.

  4. about 10-14 days if its a regular 28days cycle

  5. If your period started late, you will ovulate late. If your period started early in a month, you will ovulate earlier in that month.

  6. yes it is possible to ovulate at different times of the month if you are irregular, but if you are regular every month you will ovulate the same time, you ovulate about 14 days before your next period so if you have a 30 day cycle you will ovulate on day 16 of your cycle and if its 28 days you will ovulate on day 14 and so on, you are most fertile a few days before ovulation as well if you are trying to get pregnant maybe try a ovulation kit to determin when you ovulate
