Okay so I had s*x (with a condom) on July 8-10 a few times. That would be days 14, 15, and 16 of my cycle. I had my period on the 23rd of July (day 1 of cycle) for a few days. Then, on the 13th and 14th day of my cycle: August 4th and 5th I had light spotting which I never get. it was reddish brown and very light. I'm worried and confused because today I should have gotten my period. Is it implantation or ovulation spotting? Does anyone know what's more common? Also, is it possible to be pregnant when I did have my period back in July, two weeks after I had s*x? thanks.

  1. just take a test. it's a h**l of a lot easier than playing the guessing/explaining game

  2. You most likely would not have gotten your period on July 23rd if you were pregnant, and if you did "get it", it would have been just a little light pink or brown spotting when you peed. Not even enough to need a pad or tampon for. You probably had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. I've had them before and they suck. But cyst bleeding is just a TINY bit of light pink or brown bleeding on the day of ovulation. Implantation bleeding would not occur until 5-10 days after you ovulated this month. It wouldn't happen a whole month later. And it wouldn't happen the same day that you ovulated.

The only way to be 100% sure is to test. I really doubt that you're pregnant. Test tomorrow. Good luck.
