i have to send a digital binary data of 8 bit from one end to another through optical fibre.any resource to help me?

  1. I can't help you with optical fiber, but it sounds like 8 bits of binary could very easily be sent through regular copper wires.  8 bits is certainly not enough data to justify the cost of an optical fibre communication system (they are actually very expensive, which is why I never bothered to learn about them =D).  Just multiplex the signal at the transmitting end, and demux at the receiving end.
