The prolific middle-order batsman of Rajasthan Royals, Owais Shah, hopes his impressive performance in the ongoing season five of the lucrative Indian Premier League is being noticed by the England and Wales Cricket Board selectors
back home.
The Pakistan-born out-of-favour England batsman is banking on his startling performances for Royals to earn a recall from the national selectors for this year’s World T20 Championship to be held in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in September.
"The performance in IPL is watched world over and I am sure back home too people must be looking at my performance," said the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 batsman when asked whether he believes his belligerence in the Twenty20 league would get due weightage
back home.
In the ongoing IPL5, the English batsman has so far amassed a tally of 216 runs in six games, at an impressive average of 54 and a belligerent strike rate of over 150. Currently, Shah stands second on the list of highest run-scorers
of the tournament.
