I think Bopara. Bopara seems to be a more matured cricketer.

I like both and I'm glad at least on of them has been given another opportunity in the Test team.

Shah seems to have been given the rougher ride when it comes to selection though, he's in good form for Middlesex and has been over looked again (though I wonder if not playing in the warm up games against SA hurt his selection). I guess the selectors want to build for the long term future and they obviously think Bopara is the man for that.

I would pick Owais Shah over Ravi Bopara for test & ODI's but I'm surprised Rob Key was not in the frame to be picked

Owais Shah appears to be more suited to test match cricket than ravi bopara.

My computer tells me that owais shah's level is about 33.5 marks and ravi bopara is at 11 marks level.

In ODI, Shah is at 40.1 marks level and bopara is at 34.1 marks level.

Both ways, Owais shah is better than ravi bopara.
