Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has revealed he is certain Liverpool striker Andy Carroll will soon return to goal scoring ways for the Reds.
Like Fernando Torres at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Carroll has failed to perform since joining Liverpool from Newcastle United in the last winter transfer window. The player who the Reds signed for 35 million pounds has scored just six goals in 31 appearances in all competitions.
He has since then fallen out of favour with manager Kenny Dalglish and failed to even make it to the starting line up against Stoke City. However, Coyle was certain the English striker would find his form and become a force to be reckoned with.
Coyle said while speaking to reporters:
“I don't think there is any doubt he will reproduce that form. He is an outstanding young player.
The thing is, when you get that kind of criticism you have to come through it with a smile on your face. It will serve him well. His quality is unquestioned. We have to make sure he doesn't show it against us.”
The Scottish manager was confident Carroll would reproduce his former form and be as good as he was for Newcastle United. The Trotters boss revealed he did not doubt Carroll’s quality as his side prepare to take on the Reds over the weekend.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 N’Gog will be looking to make an impression against his old side. The Frenchman joined Bolton Wanderers in the summer transfer window after failing to make it to the starting line up at Anfield.
While N’Gog has also not managed to score too many goals, the youngster has been down with a knee injury. Having now recovered, he will be looking to feature against Liverpool and try and score for the Trotters over the weekend in the must win fixture.
He revealed:
“Globally, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 and the education he got at Anfield will serve him well for the rest of his career.
He came here for a fresh challenge and we have a lot of belief in him.”
