Bolton Wanderers defender set to seek a switch to Chelsea in the January transfer window...
Owen Coyle, Bolton Wanderers manager has come out and revealed that he was confused as to whether or not he should include Gary Cahill in his club’s squad for their latest English Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In a match that ended with the score line at one all, both the relegations strugglers put up a good show as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952.
Nonetheless, Cahill did start for Bolton but he is expected to complete a transfer move to Chelsea in the January transfer window later on this month. A fee has already been agreed between both the English clubs as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are determined to shore up their backline which has been leaking goals this season.
Coyle stated in his latest interview, "No it didn’t, I’ve always spoke to Gary sensibly and everyone knows his footballing abilities and I know him as a man and his character as a man and I thought his performance was terrific today. I knew mentally he would be fine with the game because what you have to remember as well is that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 is a Bolton Wanderers player and he will be until anything changes on that."
He also spoke about Ricketts’ return, "I think it's terrific for us all to see him back. I think it was a terrific performance from him when you consider he has been out for 10 months. He scored a wonderful goal but he will be disappointed though with the free-kick, I think it was adrenaline and how much he was enjoying being out there and he was that committed he has obviously banged into Fletcher and given them a free-kick and an opportunity to get back in it.”
Bolton will look to invest the money they get from Chelsea in return for Gary Cahill in new players so that they can bolster their squad and indeed survive the relegation dogfight that they are destined to find themselves in come the end of the present English Premier League season.
