Owen Coyle says http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 worth at least twenty million pounds
Bolton Wanderers manager, Owen Coyle has gone on to state that a move for the team's star centre back, Gary Cahill would not be in the best of interests for the player. The manager went on to state that if a club is to try and
tempt the team for the player's signature, then they would have to fork out at least twenty million pounds in hopes to see the move go through or even be considered.
Currently, the likes of Arsenal and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are both being linked with a move for the defender, who has managed to pick up his form tremendously over the course of the last couple of months.
Despite stating that a move for the player would be one that he would not like to see, the Bolton manager has stated that he has still, somewhat, accepted the fact that the twenty-five-year old defender could soon be on his way
out of the Reebok Stadium.
The manager is reported to have said, "I don't fear bids for Gary or any other player because they have been playing so well"
"Could it happen? Absolutely, because they are top players.
"But if it is Gary that we are speaking about, when those sort of players move for £20million, £25million or £30million - because that is what it would take - they are better suited to moving in the summer.”
The player is being linked to two of the top teams in the Premier League at the moment. That being said, both Chelsea and Arsenal are in desperate need of positive reinforcements at the back. As a result, it is safe to say that
both the teams would be more than willing to battle it out to capture the player's signature.
However, what Arsenal have going for them, is the fact that Coyle is reported to be looking to bring in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 last season and Arsenal
will be hoping that the manager’s interest in their out of favour striker, could help provide the 'X' factor in their attempt to land Cahill.
Coyle is reported to have said, "Carlos Vela is an outstanding player. I think what happened was that (Arsenal manager) Arsene Wenger said he might consider letting him go out on loan and then people have looked and put two and
two together.”
"But there is no doubt that Carlos Vela is a wonderful player."
Experts are stating that the future of both Vela and Cahill now depends on how the managers act out in the coming few days. However, almost every expert agrees that if Wenger plays his cards right, then not only could he help Vela
develop by off-loading him to a team where he could get far more first team action, but could also end up landing one of the best defenders in Europe at the moment.
