Own a canon powershot s230.But now it wnt take pictures. Pix r all black.Any Sugg?

It used to work perfectly. It took great pictures. But one day every picture I took was black. Everything seems to work. The shutter opens and all the features are working too. But its like something is blocking the view from the inside or something.

There may be a problem with the lens or with the screen. You should take it to a camera shop or call the company's help line and ask them if there is any way to fix it.

The S230 was released almost 6 years ago. Time for a new one. The advantages...

better image quality, more optical zoom (the S230 only has 2x optical), updated features, faster performance, better movie mode, a larger and higher resolution LCD.
