Owner just offered Steven Jackson!!! 12 Team PPR League ?

Question

He wants Brandon Jacobs + Jake Delhomme for Steven Jackson

I already Westbrook so if add Jackson i would 2 of the top 5 running backs. The only reason this trade is even consideration is do to Jackson's contract holdout.Still do you think it's worth risk?

PPR League settings

WR/RB/TE

10 yards = 1pt

Reception = 1pt

TD = 6pts

100 yards = 3 pt bonus

150 yards = 2pt bonus

175 yards = 3pt bonus

QB

20 Yards = 1pt

TD = 4pts

230 yards = 2pt bonus

250 yars = 1pt

300 yarss = 3pt bonus

It's worth it because of his name value.I think S.Jax is over rated,but you might be able to retrade him for better value then you are giving up.

I'd try for J.Addai,Randy Moss,F.Gore(or package him with a bencher,

and try for LT,or AP.) I personally wouldn't want S.Jax (I had him last year),,,but if you get "stuck"with him you could do alot worse.Also remember that if you don't get any takers in the preseason,if he has one,or a couple hot games his trade value will sore.A good trading guideline is to sell high,and buy low,and you will get rich.(Just like stocks.)

I would do it.  I think Jackson will come around before the first week.  Besides the risk you take is not as risky as trying to win with Jacobs.

this depends on who your backup RB's are if SJ doesnt play the first 6 weeks.  If you got a solid backup I would def make the trade, Jacobs is injury prown and Delhomme hasnt played in a meaningful game since his surgery while SJ will be a top 5 back if he plays all year. I think the reward outweighs the risk.

NO, NO, NO, NO, and I repeat, NO. Do not trade for Jackson, yet. He and StL. are miles apart in getting a deal done. However, do as much research as you can on Jackson's contract dispute, and as soon as you feel that SJax and StL. have made enough progress, pull the trigger on this deal. Be sure to play it safe. Don't pull the trigger too soon.
