  1. actually, the easy way to get there is the notifiers are located at the top of middle of group home page near group title- click edit membership-

yahoo has been glitvhy the last few days with these notices- you may want to report it

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  2. change your email preferences

find yourself in the member list, click on 'edit membership', under 'Message Delivery' should give you the following options:

Notify this moderator when there are pending messages, photos or memberships which require approval.

Notify this moderator when a member joins/leaves this group or new files uploaded.

Notify this moderator when there are pending messages which have been identified as possible spam.

just tick the boxes and save, and you should start getting all those emails through

  3. sunshine's directions are one way to sign up to get those notifications.  Note that an easy way to find yourself on the Members list is to click the Moderators link/tab towards the upper-left part of the list after you've clicked on Members to get to the first page of the Memebers list.

If you've follwed sunshine's directions, and you noticed that the check-box for your settings for Notify This Moderator When A Member Joins/Leaves This Group is already checked when you first get to the appropriate page, then you need to contact Yahoo Groups Customer Care (sometimes these notifications can be glitchy).  Contact them by filling out the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .
