Question:

Owners of current iPod nano -- enough music storage?

Hi! I am debating between buying an iPod nano (current generation) or classic (also current generation). The iPod nano that I would get can only hold 1,000 songs. I know this question varies depending on how much music you like to listen to, but I am just curious to see if 1,000 songs is enough for most people. Thanks!

  1. That is personally plenty for me but I only put songs inrwally lke on my iPod.  My friends would say that's pethetic but theyre really into music of all sorts so they have no problem filling 1000 songs. Hope this helped!

  2. not a chance, i have about 4,000 songs and i need more, i have about 500 songs that lil wayne alone are in. lol go with the classic 80 GB

  3. It really depends on you... I have an 8gb and it's fine.  It has a lot to do with the file quality/format you select in your preferences, the length of the song, and if you put any videos or pics on there.

It's also not that hard to remove songs and swap them.

  4. The nano's 1000 songs is plenty for me, but I have a lot of friends who have no trouble filling up an iPod classic, so it really just depends on what you plan on using it for and how often you plan to use it.
