Owning a Beauty Salon?

Question

Someday I would like to own a beauty salon. I am willing to do a Beauty Therapist Course to achieve my goal, but I am wondering what's really involved in the day-to day running of such a buisness. Due to illness I may have to work only part time. Given that, can I hire a Manager to run it for me? And will they deal with all the finanicials ect.?
