Ows I just downloaded avs video converter. i tried to open a Win.Movie Maker project. it wouldn't let me. Why?

  1. Because that is not what video converters do.

    Open the MovieMaker project in MovieMaker. Save As or Export... to whatever format you need...

    What are you trying to convert to?
