The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international went on to join Arsenal from Southampton, in a move that many thought would prove to be a massive failure.
However, the nineteen year old has gone on to impress just about everyone, whenever he steps onto the pitch and the way he has been performing, many claim that he is set to be the next superstar for England.
His performances in his debut season for Arsenal are what earned him a call up to the national side, and with him now having spent more time with the team, he is bound to get better from here on.
He has already been considered to be one of the first choices to make the team and given the fact that he has impressed, every single time he stepped onto the pitch, a lot of big things can be expected from him in the future.
Despite his rise to face in such a short period of time, Chamberlain has gone on to insist that the is looking to stick around at the Emirates and has told the team that he is ready to extend his stay at the club.
“I am here to play for England this week," Oxlade-Chamberlain told reporters.

"That is the only thing I am concentrating on. But if Arsenal want to sit down and talk about that [contract], it is really good because I am loving my time there.”

"I really enjoy playing for them and am planning on being there for a while."
The player’s current contract with the club is set to run out in four years, but the fact that he is looking to extend his stay well beyond that period, just proves that he is committed to the cause.
His loyalty is more than likely going to be acknowledged and recognized by the club, which could see him excel in the coming months.
It is now a wait to see just how his career at the North London club turns out.
