????????Oxycontin?????

is anyone in australia on oxycontin or a similar painkiller such as ms contin,oxynorm or physeptone and what strength, what are you using it for, and what area of australia are you in?

just curious as ive been put onto oxycontin for pain relief?

at one time i was given it for back pain and at another time it was given to me after  i had a op

my mum was on ms contin when she broke her collarbone playing basketball.  she was about 40 at the time and in perth - this was about 10 years ago-ish.

oxycontin is pretty heavy duty pain relief and i'm not sure i'd be comfortable on it for any period of time.

is there anything you can do to address the CAUSE of your pain rather than mask it?

I am on 40mg of oxycontin a day due to severe chronic pain in my inner ears caused my Meniere's disease.

I'm located in victoria.

I have been on it for close to 3 years. I don't like being on it at all but nothing else up to this point has helped!!
