Oxygen bar??

yea im checkin out one with my friends this weekend...but how do oxygen bars workk likee is it worth spending my money on it... like does it even get you high..? thats what i heard idk

i just dont wanna waste on somethin that wont work you know???

tell about what it is how it works and what it does???

yes it will get you high. But it is short lived after you use it all up. Weed is the only way to go if you wanna get high.

They hook you up to an oxygen hose.

Some people get a slight buzz off it but most

people do it as its healthy to saturate your system

once in a while.

It is also very helpful if you are hungover.

If you are drinking you will notice you &quot;feel sober&quot; longer but thats just due to the excess oxygen in your system.

You can go there and inhale pure oxygen through a nasal cannula. They have different scents you can choose and it makes you feel good. Not high but it will get you over a hangover and increase your awareness.

it won&#039;t get you high...

It&#039;s a place where you sit around sometimes drinking alcohol - sometimes water or jiuce and breath oxygen through nasal cannulas (usually only at around 4-6 lpm).  Sometimes they add scents to it.  The point is not to get a high from it.  I tried it once after a cross country flight and it seemed to help with jetlag.

parting thought: if the oxygen did get you high then hospitals would be much happier places

You asked if it gets you high. Sorry to say but no, it&#039;s just oxygen, if anything it will help boost your immune system but other than that, you won&#039;t feel much else.

Yahoo had an oxygen bar for the Brainiacs during the Yahoo! Answers launch promotion at the Hard Rock Cafe on Times Square a couple of years ago, so I got to try it.  Oxygen bars are a lot of fun and can wake you up and perk up your brain waves a little... but no, they don&#039;t get you high.

They&#039;re not dangerous.  Inhaling other gases, like helium, in enclosed places is extremely dangerous because it deprives your brain of oxygen.  Some kids I went to high school with died that way - helium tank in a closed car.  But an oxygen bar is... well...oxygen, so there is no danger of oxygen deprivation from it.
