Oyster Card Age!?

I'm 15 years old and I was just wondering whether it is ok to borrow my dads oyster card. Am I able to get it topped up smoothly without being asked my age?

you might as well get your own, as you're not an adult (with adult fares) til16

however... it is easy to top up, there are machines you can top up with either card or cash payments and check your balance, you don't need a password or anything

Check with "tfl" - but surely you can get a cheaper rate than the adult one if you get your own card - and if you live in London it's a free one anyway !.
