When you get onto a bus, do you have to press a certain side of the oyster card against the yellow pad?

  1. Your Oyster Card should come in a handy blue plastic holder.  Just hold this against the yellow card reader on the left next to the driver when you get on-board.  If you go on a bendy bus you can just swipe on any of the readers.  Most of us don't bother and thus get a free ride.  Only problem is, if the Gestapo get on at the next stop, you're for it.

  2. I think it works however you hold it.

Maybe you should have listened to this before buying an oyster card though :-)

    (press the play button).

    P.S. Don't listen if you're easily offended!!!!

  3. press the siode that isnt blue into the yellow pad n it will beep just like on the tube

  4. No lol, it doesn't matter what side or you can just do it through the plastic card holder, i do :)

  5. Yeah, if you put it on upside down, it actually adds money to your account. Be carefull

EDIT - probably, loved the song, that's why I ride my scooter into town.

  6. Oyster cards will soon be obsolete, most of us Londoners use our mussels now, ask at any underground station.
