Oyster photocard....?

Can I get a normal oyster card or do I need to get a photocard (I'm 17 and will turn on my third day in london)...??? and what do I need to get it??

The photocard is usually used for students who want a discount. You can use a normal oyster card if you wish.

If you are under 18 and currently living in London you can apply to have a 16+ Oyster card...also if you are in full time education, this provides free tavel however, if you are not in full time education and not living in London and you are just in London for a few days then get a oyster card for a day it's turns out to be cheaper otherwise you will have to apply which can take up to 2 weeks.
