The German international has expressed his delight in wake of his side’s La Liga triumph along with finally beating La Blaugrana.
Real Madrid’s Mesut Ozil has appeared more than pleased as Los Blancos secured their 32nd Spanish La Liga title this term. The player went on to state that overcoming La Blaugrana heightens the pleasure associated with the league triumph.
Ozil exclaimed that finally feeling the glory of acquiring the silverware in the Spanish Primera is something that he deeply cherishes.
Jose Mourinho’s men enjoyed a remarkable campaign and were simply impressive throughout the season.
Not only did Los Vikingos lift the Liga BBVA trophy, they managed to do it in spectacular fashion. The recently passed season’s campaign saw the Spanish capital-based outfit break two significant records in the Spanish Primera Division.
The nine-time European champions were able to break the record for the highest number of goals scored in one season, along with securing the highest number of points on the table.
The two feats made great contribution in emphasizing the season as a memorable one for Los Merengues.

"It was a bitter experience for us, but we recovered quickly. It was not a problem. We learned to overcome it and we won the league, which was my first objective. I am very proud and happy about that."
