  1. No your not silly .  We are just being warned to be careful outside . Especially for the elderly , young and sick .  Too much pollution has thinned the layer of gas that protects  us  ( all living things ) . With out this layer we will not have an atmosphere and Earth will not be able to sustain life .

This year there might not be any ice in the North Pole .  All do to the pollution thinning the ozone .

Al Gore has a great DVD about  all the pollution . Check it out . It will open your eyes !

I think the name of the DVD is  "The Inconceivable Truth" .

  2. An ozone warning means that high levels of ‘bad’ ozone have been measured at one or more monitoring sites in the area. The warnings are color coded to indicate the severity of ozone levels. These color codes correspond to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Air Quality Index. For example, if the ozone level is orange, the air is unhealthy for certain groups. People in this ozone-sensitive group – such as children who are active outdoors, people with a respiratory disease such as asthma, and people with heart disease – should take certain precautions: limit your time outdoors, plan activities in the early morning or evening, do not exercise near pollution sources, and try to remain inside where it is air-conditioned.

  3. High ozone levels can affect breathing in elderly, young, and sick.  It normally becomes high during hot and humid weather when the overall air quality becomes bad.  I think it's silly myself....don't you think ozone will be inside your house too?  Does it stop at the front door and knock to come inside?  LOL If you and your little one have no breathing issues or sensitive health issues, I would personally go about my business as usual.

Sorry Blue...I might be stepping on some toes as I'm not known as one to keep my mouth shut, but I believe Al Gore is a puppet being played with by some very powerful people in this world who wants to influence unsuspecting, hard working taxpayers into funding baseless programs for not only their personal gain in fortune, but to lie to the world about a natural phenomenon our world has undergone time and time again since the beginning, scaring them into believing they are responsible, and need to fork out money to help stop it.  There is no doubt global warming is happening which is contributing to some of the air pollution we see, but it's most certainly not the first time in world history and it won't be the last.  There is far more scientific data to prove not only my story, but a large portion of very intelligent scientists' stories also.  It's very scary what can happen when a celebrity/politician wins a Nobel Prize....people will believe anything.

  4. Ozone is a gas which really isn't good for your health. It won't hurt you to go outside.

  5. Basically the sun's rays interact with pollutants in the lower atmosphere to produce ozone.  When pollutant concentration is high, ozone production can get high.  This can result in respiratory problems to those sensitive to this, so an ozone alert may be issued.  Burning is limited or banned in order to reduce the amount of pollutants.

  6. well I'm ready for it, I have my bubble head....lol never heard of it but sounds dangerous ...

ha haha no its my bubble...get your own...lol
