  1. You can start by going to the cruise line web sites and clicking on the link to jobs, employment, human resources or whatever they have for links to jobs.  That will give you a start.  I know that on the Royal Caribbean site if you click on the jobs link it will take you to a page where the different types of positions on ships are listed and you can even apply for vacancies.

You should be aware that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are partners so if you go to one of those you can probably ask about the other.  In addition, Carnival is partners with Cunard, Princess, Holland America and a couple other cruise lines so a contact with Carnival can cover several cruise lines.

If you are interested in merchant seamanship, then you should also contact some freighter lines.  These web sites will give you some leads (address and phone numbers):  http://www.juddspittler.com/freighterbum...

  2. Each cruiseship operation has their own web site and they usually have a link for employment.

  3. If you go to this link and scroll down to where it says Technical Department, you will see a couple of different careers.

Hope this helps and good luck!

  4. try googling "merchant seaman apprenticeships"

    that might give you something

    good luck
