Is it possible to s***w nails into my PVC windows to install a blind? Someone told me that it couldn,t be done as they are hollow. I wondered if there were special screws available.

Thank you

  1. NO!  Don't do it.

Measure again to cover all of the windows.  The windows are most likely double paned glass and you will ruin them if you put a hole in them.

Something here is wrong.  Try again and get someone else to take a look, but, by all means don't ruin your windows.  They are very expensive to replace.

    thanks

  2. Just put your blinds into the trim. I would not drill into my windows.

  3. they are hollow. wouldn't recommend. it's better to s***w into the wood side or top jamb.

    Hope this helps.

  4. get some screws that come with plastic wall anchors. Drill the hole for the anchor and install the anchor in the hole.
