P2p filesharing system?

what is the fatest and most reliable p2p filesharing program out there? try to give reasons?

they all have pros and cons, but most are pretty slow compared to torrent programs like utorrent etc. they also are more likely to give your computer a virus or spyware. I have tried a bunch, but even the most reliable have had problems. a friend likes frostwire, but I haven;t tried it, so can't say for sure.
