My fiance & I went to Wal-Mart to get his hunting license today. Some new lady was there - not the same person there every other time, and she refused to give him a license because he didn't have his card stating he finished his hunter's safety course eleven or twelve years ago. (YES, he did complete it, and has had a hunting license every year since)! She said that was needed or he at least had to bring his license from last year. I never heard of this, and neither has he. He has no idea where that card is - I mean he was 14 when he did that! & the game commission's website really didn't say anything other than you need a social security number & a photo ID or driver's license to obtain your hunting license. This lady was also rude. I never heard of this -- and I just want to go back there and yell in her face! Haha. But if I'm wrong, I'd like to know, but I never heard of this before. And for him having a new license every year for 11 or 12 years I think he'd know the routine by now. By the way, I'm in PA. Anyone know if this is true -- that you NEED to have this stuff with you? He never did before?!
