  1. Did you roll all of your clothes up? Rolling your clothes tightly will prevent wrinkles and save space!

  2. bring an additional bag.

keep it kinda on the smal side though.

you are allowed to have 2 carry on bags so if you aren't already taking 2 buy a slightly smaller bag like a back pack or small duffel bag.

if you are already bringing 2 carry ons then just have 2 checked bags.

you will be charged for the additional bag but its worth the cost if you def need everything you are packing.

or get either the "space" bags or a gneeric vacum bag and use your vacum to suck out the air that will save alot of space.

only problem is unless you can use a vacum on the way home you will be in the same situation as you are now.

  3. You can use space bags, but you don't have to use a vacuum cleaner.  Just get the ones that roll up, called compression bags.  They squeeze out the air and make your clothes smaller.

I know they have them at Bed Bath and Beyond; you could also check with local travel supply stores.

Or, if you're desperate, just get the biggest ziplock bags you can find and do it yourself.  Put the clothes in, zip it until it's almost closed, roll/squeeze out the air, then seal it.

I also agree with the above person who said to take an additional bag as carry on.  You're allowed one bag plus your purse.

Or, you could be harsh and deplete your clothing supply.  Do you really need three pairs of jeans?  All those tops?  If you're packing something "just in case you need it," you won't need it.

  4. Who says you "can't" leave anything out?  If it doesn't fit in your bag, you are overpacking.  Pack things that mix and match in the same color schemes, and don't worry, you can wear something twice, it won't kill you.
