i wanted to paint a cat. I was wondering if i wanted to do it so good it was able to sell, how long about should it take me. i don't want to rush and this will really help me take my time on my painting. it is monday and i don't know if i could sell it but we are having a garage sale on thursday. Is that enough time? (i know i wont get to much for it but i want to be able to say i sold a painting) This would really help me so i need an answer asap. Thanks!!!

  1. It depends on your skill and your paint. If you're doing oil painting, it's gonna be hard to let it dry, especially if you are planning to paint several layers. With acrylics, it may be doable.

If you are dedicating a few hours/day and you have reasonable skill, it should be ok.

    Good luck on your sale.

  2. I suggest you learn how to paint before entertaining ideas of selling.

I know what acrylics are. . . what is "normal paint?"

  3. If you are doing a small painting and keep it simple you should be able to finish it by Thursday. Acrylic or watercolor would dry in time, but not oils. Post a picture of it when you are done so we can see it! Good luck.

  4. well im not a painter but im a drawer can u answer my question?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

    Do u like my drawings?

  5. You are going about this backwards. First paint the cat, then schedule the garage sale. LOL.
